Christina Garcia

Stem Cell Technician

“I have loved working with stem cells because if it helps people get better without the hassle of surgery and long recovery, then why not give it a chance?"

Born and raised in Naples, FL, Christina joined the Army and was stationed at Fort Riley, KS, serving 8 years on active duty. With 11 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist, she has worked in all surgical services, including level 1 trauma. Christina has her Associates Degree in Science and is very close to receiving her Bachelors in Health Care Administration.

Playing an active role in the Riley Humane Society, Christina has fostered 5 dogs - helping them find loving families. She also loves spending time with her 2 dogs, Bella and Leo. Her hobbies include running, hiking, reading and antique shopping. Her goal every year is to run two half marathons and has met this goal 7 years in a row.

With a passion to make a difference in people’s lives, Christina strives to be the best version of herself in order to do just that. She prides herself on her integrity and loyalty to her family, friends, and patients.

"I have met a lot of great people working at KRMC and we have made a difference in many lives.”
