After graduation, her passion for helping others lead her to SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse where she received her M.D. degree, graduating in the top 10% of her class and was honored with the Ronald Kriznofski award for outstanding clinician. From there, all roads lead to the renowned Andrews Air Force Base for her residency in family medicine.

In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her husband and two teenage daughters. From taking up sailing to learning piano and volunteering locally, she's always on the move, but family always comes first.

“I have had many titles in my life.  I am currently working hardest at the title of Mom--learning to balance my professional passion with the need to be available and inspire my two teenage daughters to live a life full of their own passion.”
