Use your own stem cells to accelerate the healing process

Autoimmune treatment is one of the fields at the forefront of stem cell therapy research. We have developed specific deployment protocols that utilize the regenerative properties of stromal vascular fraction (SVF), which is rich in mesenchymal stem cells and growth factors, to treat autoimmune disorders. In about three hours, our physicians can collect and deploy your own stem cells using special measures to optimize transport of SVF to target areas. We use a nearly pain-free collection of Adipose stem cells from your own natural fat deposits, rather than from a more painful, time-consuming bone marrow extraction. Our procedure requires only local anesthesia and, in most cases, recovery is almost immediate.

How Stem Cells Work

The Stem Cell Therapy Process

1

Initial consultation

Our expert physicians will meet with you by phone or in-person to review your medical history and will determine if you’re a good candidate for stem cell therapy. If we agree stem cell therapy can help, we’ll schedule your first appointment in our offices in either Kansas City or Manhattan, Kansas.

Treatment

In most cases our outpatient treatment takes four hours and is nearly pain free. You do not have to “go under.” Our treatment is a nearly painless procedure that uses only a small amount of local anesthesia. On the day of your procedure, our physicians will collect stem cells from a small area of fat deposits through a simple lipoaspiration procedure. After stem cell collection, you will relax in a private room. Once processed, your stem cells will be injected into the area of need using a highly sophisticated ultrasound instrument with enhanced needle visualization for precise delivery of your stem cells. In most cases, we also administer an IV of your stem cells during treatment to further enhance your body’s natural healing process.

Follow-up Treatment

There is virtually no recovery time from your stem cell therapy procedure. Most people are back to work the following day. Our physician will remain in touch with you during your recovery process to answer questions.

Payment Options

Patients who are considered to be candidates will be invited for a consultation with one of our panel physicians completely free of charge. Treatment cost varies depending on the disease state being treated and which type of stem cell deployment is required. To apply for medical financing, visit Bank of the Flint Hills.
